I plan on starting a series of blogs for my average day playing both online and live poker.

Well today I woke up kind of tired from playing online last night....it was a grind that ended up with me losing my whole BR...oh well. I woke up and went to church as usual with the family then at about 11 I headed to the pokerroom. Always an interesting feeling walking into there at such a young age but its getting to be just routine for me all the looks i get. Anyway i sat down at 1/2 NL Holdem. I bought in for 100 (Florida Maximum Gambling Buy In). Had a full table and sat neext to the regulars I usually play with. Lost my whole buy in within lets say a half hour on the following two hands.
Had the button in front of me and was deal Ac9c..modest hand to say the least but with position and only one caller i raised it up to 8$. SB folds. BB folds. Original limper repops too 18$. This caught me offguard and i suspiciously called. Flop was Ah 9d 2s. Gin for me he opened up with a bet of 24$. A nice size bet considering we all had about 100 in chips. Did he hit a set? If so he either hit a set of deuces which i doubt he would repop me preflop. Or he one outered be with a set of 9s or As......I went all in he instacalls with 22. turn and river were blanks and i rebought for 100 more. About an hour later i picked up 99 in the small blind. Folded around to the button who of course raised to 12$ i call and BB folds. flop is 8x 9x 6s. i bet 12$ whichis a modest sized bet i thought..he repops to 40 and i flat call. turn is a J and i push all in he instacalls and shows Q10 river was a Q and he won with his Qhigh straight.....now is this all bad luck or is it bad play on my part?

Firstly, you said you lost your roll in a "grind". "grinding" is playing within your BR, not losing it!

Secondly, if you lost 2 hands and busted in the casino in under half an hour, your post says "about an hour later i was dealt" - makes no sense!!!

Thirdly, hand one your screwed.

no i bought in for 100$ two times...by BR i meant the max your allowed to buy in with per florida state law.
