Default bad day at car bon

Well today i logged into carbon poker, after biulding up my bankroll upto $18.50 from my measly $2.50 i earned from getting into the cash on a free roll.

however, things wernt so clear cut and good for me today as i had no luck with the cards as what so ever.

i played in a $1 SNG i was in last place in the last 5 players, and short stacked on 1.1k in chips. hadnt won 1 hand, didnt hit anything on the flops and the table seemed agress at every oppotunity. i was dealt 33 on bb (blinds 150/300) my opponent had 10j and called.

    FLOP, 3, 7, J

i finally hit something, so instead of leading out, i check, and my opponent bets 450. i think for a while, i push my remaining 800 chips and go all in. and he calls straight away. pot 2200, if i win, im back in the game. HOWEVER!!

    TURN, J RIVER, 10

my opponent wins fullhouse jacks over tens, and i cant believe my luck....lol.

I entered another SNG hoping for a different outcome, played a bit harder, won a couple of small pots, only to have the same thing happen again. but this time i had bullets in hand all in preflop, my opponent called wit qq.

    FLOP, 10, Q, A

at this stage im thinking i gotta good chance of winning, and keep my fingers crossed

    TURN 10 RIVER Q

cannot believe it, i automatically congratulate him and log out immediately from carbon.

All afternoon i have been questioning, could i have done something different, or was it just down to the cards and my luck just wasnt there.

although i only lost a couple of dollars, i will take the bad luck as a sign, and will take a rest from poker, and will play again on carbon next week, where hopefully i start winning again.

thanks for your time, and good luck!!

Obviously it is frustrating to have that kind of luck, but I think at the end of the day you did the right thing to walk away. Otherwise you would be posting how you tilted the rest of your bankroll away. I have done that way too many times to count and still have a problem with it. Walking away is never a bad idea. You can't lose what you don't put into play.
