How do I prevent someone from doing this again? I thought I played it perfectly, but got rivered again. Please help.

I don't understand how you call the raise on the flop? They were chasing a 4 out draw plus 2 overs that might or might not help them. To push on the turn blows my mind. You are pushing with at best 8 outs, maybe 14.

the answer is simple, fulltilt poker advertises all over the world, and there are ALOT of terrible players there, and they dont always know how to play the odds properly, hence why they are playing 3.30 limits, im not at all trying to say that you are a bad player, i myself have won a few 3.30 ko's and 72 bucks is a decent prize plus all of the donkeys you knock out along the way...the only way you can prevent losing your chips here is to smooth call make it look like your on the draw with the 7 and then either smooth call or shove on the river....your way is not that bad he was at best a 35% underdog on the turn...but one thing i have learned from Daniel Negranue is to keep the pots small unless you got a MONSTER, you could smooth call him all the way down or check down with A9 wich is a very tricky hand to play...JUST REMEMBER, TOP PAIR-TOP KICKER is still only one pair
