BAP

Eejit was talking to me the other day about something he calls BAP (buy a piece).

Basically, several people contribute money to one person so that person can enter a large poker tournament. Any winnings are then split among the "investors" and the player equally.

I was wondering if there were any NDN members who would be interested in starting something like this up on a weekly basis. We could all contribute the same amount each week, and I would randomly select the player each week.

We could include rules on how often a player can play or any other rules that might apply, but I wanted to see if anyone is interested.

Im up for this. Its a commen thing in the poker staking world. Rules would definately need to be drawn up but as an initial idea id be interested in investing.

I have done this on a local personal basis and it is exciting. I think mre exciting when someone else is playing,especially someone you think plays great. Count me in on it if it's not too expensive

how about the winner of our buyin games? to give even more reason to get in those buyin games and they will have shown promise in their ability to win us some money ..altho winner of our freerolls would have gone through more players...hmmmm

... would we invest through chips?..with the value of chips matching what would be money? transfers for some of us on sites are limited, like i can't transfer from poker.com/carbon sites so how would i get the money out to u if i win ( i could write you a check and mail it but that may prove weary) and then they also have limits on transfers.

Concept is sound ...it would be staking by shares. I would be interested if we could make it right without putting you in a position of breaking and laws/rules.

I think the general consensus is going to be pointing towards Full Tilt for the games. They offer the best value and range of games.

Also Im sure you would be able to buy shares with chips as this is just the same as you cashing them in for poker $ and then buying chips.

As for transfering issue, as long as you have not made your first deposit at Full Tilt within the last 90 days you should be fine to transfer on that site.

Full Tilt is fine, but I don't see any reason why we need to limit this to any one poker room.

IT sounds very interesting guys ;i think i have to wait to see final rules/guidelines drawn up before i commit .
