I don't understand how you call the raise on the flop? They were chasing a 4 out draw plus 2 overs that might or might not help them. To push on the turn blows my mind. You are pushing with at best 8 outs, maybe 14.

Ok, i think you have made a couple mistakes here.

Preflop - I would either raise or fold here, by limping in you are now in at least a 4 way (and proved to be 5 way) pot with A9os. There are not very many flops where 5 handed you would feel comfortably in the lead. I personally would raise in this spot and get it down to 2 or 3 handed.

Flop - Ok you have flopped toptop and are likely infront here however its not that stong of a hand. I like the raise to 1200 as again you are attempting to get rid of people. There are not a lot of turn cards that are safe cards here. i think with the exception of a 3,4,9 or A (maybe a 2) we dont like any other turn.

Turn - When he open shoves here the very least i am putting him on is 2 pair. In fact it screams set to me and he is trying to push away any straight draws. The mistake here is calling the 5k chips with only A9. Forgetting that we are ahead, i think the only thing you are beating here is a bluff and calling away half our stack hoping that he is bluffing is not good poker.

River - Ok you called and he was bluffing and he got lucky, however i think if you run the numbers he does have something like a 21% chance of winning which if you are bluffing is a pretty good shot to win if you get caught.

So to sum up i think A9os really shouldnt be played 5 handed preflop and toptop is not worth half our stack on this board.

I agree nearly completely with Ed

Id much rather raise with A9, maybe even push the squeeze play with all the limps in the pot. Who knows

As player preflop, its a good flop, but its dangerous. You have to remember, your 49% vs 2 overs with a open ended straight draw here. So imo bet the Flop HARD. Very Hard. IF you get it in here its +EV as your pot odds are correct.

As played i think i fold the turn too. Unless your read says bluff/similar hand (pair and kicker) and as u have the best of the, id call read dependant

I didn't add my thoughts, so I would get responses without causing any bias. I had a good read on the player, knew where to roughly put them. Figured on 2 overs, but didn't expect them to call the flop reraise with the gutshot and two overs. That is only 10 outs, but you have to figure some of those outs are taken with the 3 other limp's. Figure they have maybe 7 or 8 outs. That puts them at 28 - 32% to hit on the turn or river. The push on the turn, knowing what I knew at the table, told me it was a bluff, which is why I made the call. I didn't figure them on as "weak" of a starting hand, but I still knew I was ahead making the call. Thank you for the input folks, I do appreciate it.

the answer is simple, fulltilt poker advertises all over the world, and there are ALOT of terrible players there, and they dont always know how to play the odds properly, hence why they are playing 3.30 limits, im not at all trying to say that you are a bad player, i myself have won a few 3.30 ko's and 72 bucks is a decent prize plus all of the donkeys you knock out along the way...the only way you can prevent losing your chips here is to smooth call make it look like your on the draw with the 7 and then either smooth call or shove on the river....your way is not that bad he was at best a 35% underdog on the turn...but one thing i have learned from Daniel Negranue is to keep the pots small unless you got a MONSTER, you could smooth call him all the way down or check down with A9 wich is a very tricky hand to play...JUST REMEMBER, TOP PAIR-TOP KICKER is still only one pair
