hey everyone , you know me as herlis but my real name is Edward but you can still call

me herlis , im from the Philippines. Actually herlis is short for herlisfood and Herlisfood

Products is our businessname here in the Philippines , our factory makes "tofu and soya

milk" but our main product is really in between tofu and soya milk meaning - from soy beans

it becomes soya milk and then we mix food hardener with soya milk and it becomes our

product we call " Taho " you mix taho with a syrup thats really sugar w/ water and people

here loves eating taho for breakfast or anytime of the day , by the way we have more

than 200 vendors selling taho for us. So from soy beans it becomes taho and taho

becomes tofu. Our business have been running more than 20 years alreay and since i was

around 13 years old i have been helping my parents run the business of course same time

while studying. I play basketball since i was 10 yrs. old and later i learned to play Jai-alai

and was an amateur player and i wanted to play as a professional Pelotari (jai-alai player)

i even went to Miami florida and played there only to experience playing there but i really

wanted to play here in manila cause Jai-alai games here are mostly fixed and money comes

so easy but they closed the Jai-alai after the people power revolution cause it was owned

by the Marcoses. Now here at my home i also have my own business just a small canteen.

I have an 8 year old daughter and i was never married. Most of the time im just online

poker but not too much now think im getting bored playing or maybe i play too much , so i

go out and gamble at the casinos once in a while, i really do like gambling , i've been

gambling since i was 13. I even went to Atlantic city 4 time when i was in the US didnt win

there. Right now im really busy taking care of my daughter besides gambling and nothing

else.

yes i agree the chips for posts is a wonderful thing ... it gave me insight on you ...lovely story of u and I will have to look for Taho and try some... sounds like your parents gave you a keen eye for business...you never married? never found a woman to suit you? raising an 8 year old girl ...who are her female role models? I went to watch Jai lai once in my life time ...loved the sport of it but could see where betting on it could be fixed easily so never persued it in that way .... shame ...don't know why people can't retain character in s worl greed always peaks its evil head into everything .. funny coming from a gambler like myself ..but even in gambling i believe in fair just play .....wouldn't want to be part of anything that wasn't .. pet peeve is CHEATERS...herlis u need to go to Vegas ....there is much stimuli there the beauty of the buildings alone is enuf draw ... maybe when NDN has its live gathering u can attend.... bring some Taho and write it off as a businesss expense ..lol ..just kidding ..nice post

nope was never married , who know i might still be one day can never tell...LOL , of course her mother visits her always and my mother her grandmother always sees to it that she gets everything that she needs and she's always get to see her cousins who are much older than she is about double her age and she idolizes herf emale cousins keeps on imitating them buying same clothes they wear too...lol and yes maybe someday ill visit Vegas but at the moment im eyeing on Macau...lol i have been to Atlantic city , lost most of my pocket money there and when i was in the US particularly at NY and Virginia i bet the lotto everyday for 1 week i was betting $50 a day then later no more...lol i lost all my pocket money to gambling and spent the rest of it buying toys and stuffed toys at Disneyland for my nieces.
