Skype is great for every aspect, you can host or join conferance calls, call overseas for their rate, call forwarding, voicemail, and everything else that Messenger's host with texting.
I use MSN and AIM for computer messaging but I also have that "Magic Jack" that's sold on TV. For $20.00 a year I can call anyone in the USA or Canada completely free. I get all the extra phone services that you could order with a regular phone like caller ID and call waiting. Also if I had a friend that bought one anywhere in the world I would be able to call that Magic Jack as well.

That's rad! Does it work well? I have been interested in that. I think it's a great invention.

I had a nice headset for ventrillo for voice chats, problem is i lost it.

MSN is easy enough, and u can talk over it to.

Skype i had once, and never needed it

It's well worth the $20.00 a year. They give it to you for 30 days without charging you so you can try it out. It's only a jack like you plug your phone into that plugs right into your computer. Then you can plug any kind of phone into it (cordless or wired) or you dont even need to use a phone. After you plug Magic Jack into your PC for the first time it downloads everything you need. Including a dial keypad right on your PC.

That seems like a good deal. Does it count as a home phone, mobile, or other? Reason why I ask is because sometimes I need a hone phone to secure my idendity. It would be nice if this would work as one.
