Here at PokerStars, we love our Monkey so much, we’ve decided to share him with the world and now you can have your very own PokerStars Monkey for just 1,000 Frequent Player Points. And before you go thinking to yourself that you’re too old for cuddly toys, we think this is one Monkey toy you’re going to want to own!

In order to take part in one of the coolest competitions you’re ever likely to see, you will need to purchase a Monkey from our VIP Store so you can take your shot at winning up to 100,000 Frequent Player Points! With this cheeky chap being the key to potentially winning such a huge prize, this is one Monkey you’re not going to want off your back!

Once you’ve got your hands on your very own cuddly little primate, allow him to accompany you to any interesting places you visit. He may not be big on conversation, but other than that he makes a great traveling companion. Once you reach your destination, simply get your Monkey out and take a photograph of him that would look good in a holiday album. Email up to 3 of your best pictures to monkey@pokerstars.com that you think will impress the PokerStars community and you could win one of the following prizes;

1st Place 100,000 Frequent Player Points
2nd Place 50,000 Frequent Player Points
3rd Place 25,000 Frequent Player Points
3 discretionary prizes 10,000 Frequent Player Points each

Whether you take a picture of him on vacation, at work, the bottom of the ocean or on top of a mountain, it really doesn’t matter as long as it’s somewhere interesting and different. We’ll then post all the pictures on a web page where you can all compare Monkeys and decide whose picture is the best. The top 3 pictures will then win a HUGE Frequent Player Points prize while a further 3 pictures that particularly impress us here in the PokerStars office will receive a discretionary 10,000 Frequent Player Points prize. Remember, we love our Monkey, so no rude or inappropriate picture will be eligible to win a prize!

We want our PokerStars Monkey to travel the world, and with your help we’re looking to create the holiday photo album to end all albums! We want to see our Monkey outside Buckingham palace in London, taking a gondola ride in Venice, trekking the Great Wall of China and discovering the Inca Trail! Maybe the PokerStars Monkey could even visit space, who knows? The possibilities are limited only by your imagination, and we love to reward innovation!

The closing date for this competition is April 1, 2009. Entries received after this date will not be considered for judging.

Please note: PokerStars acknowledge that Monkeys are not the most common of house pets and would encourage all participants to recognize that a real Monkey is for life, not just for a quick present.

Please also note: The PokerStars Monkey is actually a stuffed toy, so you will not need to worry about the above disclaimer. Once you’ve taken your pictures, your Monkey will happily live in the closet should you choose!

yea but i mean at first i thought it would be easier to win. Like you bought the monkey and then on the bottom of it, it may have a sticker for a prize. You know the entries are gonna be outrageous for this

Well seriously look at the rewards. Basically fpps are real money, theres someone that knows the basic conversion. You can buy a car with fpps!
