"Where there is a will, there is a way." You can do anything you set your mind to. That's a fact. You have so much life ahead of you!

Most of your concerns are nothing outside of the norms when it comes to young men your age.

I think it to be rare that family's stay together anymore. So you are definitely understood here. And you are not alone or set apart from most of the rest of the world when it come's to parents being divorced and remarried and even again.

I think that you just need to make some decisions for yourself and follow through with them. Whatever they may be.

I think the real problems might occur if you are so lazy that in 20 years you find yourself writing this same story. I know people that have done this. My best advice to you is.........Don't let it happen to you!

Hello Eejitt!!! The answer to all of your questions is Las Vegas. You can be a bartender or run a pub, all at the same time playing poker on your time off. Bet on baseball at the sportsbook. Better yet manage a sports bar and you'll be a kid in candy land. I was a bartender in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. making at least $350 a night. I only wanted to work 3 nights a week, I was spoiled rotten. You have to go where the money is. You could probably make $400 and up at South Beach, Miami. I had a couple of my friends leave Florida and move to Las Vegas. One is a bartender and one is a sax player. They never came back, they were making double the money in Vegas. They got a taste of the action and fell in love with it. Money flows in Vegas like no other city in the US. People go there expecting to leave all their money there and they usually do. The people who live there become your regulars and tip awesome. They moved there for the excitement of it all too. You don't have to live in the city, but you would want to work in the city. Housing is cheaper outside of Vegas and everyone is always looking for a roommate. I don't really know you, but I think if you're undecided this would be a place to make or break your decision to run a pub or become a professional poker player. I think you should bartend in a sportsbar in Vegas and tune up your poker skills for professional tournaments and see what happens. I had another friend who always was a bartender in nightclubs until he discovered the sportsbar scene. He is a sports maniac and you should see all the action happening at his bar as everyone watches the games. Awesome I tell you. I've thought about moving there myself often, but I love the beach too much. Good luck with whatever you do. I know you put alot of thought into your decisions before acting on them, just by the way you think. I say go for it. You only live once. You also have the most energy and charisma in your 20's. Nothing can stop you in your 20's, your dreams are fresh. "Keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars"
