I am thinking that going to Spain to make some good money and opening up your own pub seems the way to go. You seem to be happy when dealing with the public and that seems to be you calling in life. Go with what pleases you.

As for the age thing, I hate it when there is so much pressure to have firm plans at a young age. Here in Ontario, Canada when I was graduating grade 8 I had to decide on my high school courses and what I wanted to be in life. The courses were career focused. we had the technical side, the shop classes, the sciences and of course the office type courses. Well for the first three years i took the typing, shorthand, accounting and other office type things. Well in the last year I decided I did not work in a office so three years of that crap was wasted, well maybe not the typing or accounting but I do not use the shorthand. So basically I was screwed. I graduated high school and now work in a factory. My dream job would be either a lawyer (or something in the legal proffession) or a vet.

Why would a government insist on the youth choosing their future at such a young age. That makes me depressed. Not only that but it would almost increase unemployment if the youth's perspective changed in a decade, I don't know, I think that's a horrible call on their behalf.

I totally agree with you on that. You had three different levels that you could take depending on your academic skill. The occupational was a two year course to get you ready for everyday life like balancing a check book etc. The general was for the middle group and the advanced was for the smarter people. So you had to decide what you wanted to be to make sure you got into the right level.

In grade 8 I was more worried about getting older so I could get my licence etc. I had no clue at what I wanted to be and never really settled on a career path. I graduated grade 12 and that was as far as I went. Later I decided that I should have become I vet but I only took two years of science so I was screwed unless I went back.
