well the 1st thing I can tell you is "YOU'RE NOT TOOO OLD TO DO ANYTHING" I'm 35/36 (can't remember sometimes) and would go back to school AGAIN if I felt like it. But I hate reading now, i get instantly tired when I open a book and start reading but I can read all day long on the internet...

I graduated highschool @ the age of 16, thought I knew the world, went off to college for criminology, had a dream of being a lawyer...... didn't finish school moved back home.... worked in the fishing industry for 15 years, went back to college twice during those 15 years. One time for Business Admin (had dreams of opening up a biz) and the 2nd time for Accounting. MOved away to the city to start new (with a little guy around 4 yrs old), got different jobs then decided to go back to school AGAIN.... this time took up early childhood education to be a preschool teacher.... moved to another province, worked as a medical receptionist promoted to payroll/accounts R/P clerk..... moved away from there and came back to home town where I work with taxes.... I prepare income tax for peeps

I TOTALLY love my job now, I never figured I ever would. After years and years of trying new things and thinking "i'm too old, i'll never find what i want" it just fell upon me. I never actually looked for my specific job, it's almost like it came to me, it found me and I'm sure glad it did. Being a tax consultant I work long long hours for about 5 months and then have the other 7 months to be home with my son whose now gonna be 9. We get the summer's together, go camping, go fishing and it's awesome. Before I would never have time off during the summers and never get to spend time with my family. We now have the time together and the opportunity to do whatever we want whenever we want (well during my 7 months off) the other half works his own hours sorta thing (i guess) but the summers are usually awesome as we spend the majority of it in the wilderness out fishing etc.....

Now if we could only get the internet in the woods, life would be PERFECT.... but don't think it's over..... my life just fell together last year..... and when I least expected it too, and i'm more than 10 years older than you. I'm still wanting to start a biz still and I know if i want to, we will. It's never tooo late to do anything. (opening a bar/night club is an option here tooo, it's crossed my mind a couple times)
