I hate the cold!

I'm so bummed out over the cold temps here. Waking up to 20 degree mornings here is awful compared to the nice Florida weather. This morning I went outside to start up my new truck and pushed the down button for the back door window and it shattered like a bomb. I wasn't aware we had had freezing rain with wind chills in the single digits that had frozen the rubber seal around the window. The windows didn't have any ice on them so it had fooled me. I called to have an auto glass company come to my house tomorrow to repair it right in my driveway. They want $269.00 to come and put in a new window with the factory tint. I'm already making repairs on the damn truck and it isn't even registered in my home state yet.

I hate the snow!!!

Why?

I have to clean off my car with the brush
People here drive like 10 miles an hour if there is a tiny bit of snow on the roads so it takes forever to get anywhere.
If that weren't bad enough, I have to shovel the snow around my house

Now that I'm out of school, it really sucks to get snow. Doesn't do me a darn bit of good anymore. Just a hassle.

Actually, there is one benefit. In NYC they have these annoying alternate side parking regulations so they can clean the streets. Well, it was canceled today and I would've had to move my car because it was on the wrong side.
Now, I can leave it there tomorrow as well because I'm on the correct side for tomorrow!
