the worst thing about my dreams is they can be pretty vivid. One time I had a dream about the guy I was with and later that day when he came to pick me up for our date, I was still angry because of the dream. He asked what was wrong and once I told him it was because of what he did in my dream he started to laugh. Then he asked me if he has to pay when he does something bad in the dream it is only fair that he gets rewarded when he does something good in my dream.
The worst are lucid dreams... I used to get them a lot in the past but hardly get them now. The only problem is now I experience sleep paralysis. If you are not aware of what that is.. it's when your mind wakes up but your body doesn't, meaning: you are trying to open your eyes (sometimes they can be) or move a leg because you know that you are awake but can't do anything about it. I've tried screaming and everything, but your body doesn't know that you are awake yet. It is the scariest thing that I have ever experienced in my life. I have only had it for 1 minute tops but some people will get it for a half hour. If you have never gone threw this, count your blessings.
that sounds pretty scary. The one time I dreamed that someone was beside my bed on the floor and going to kill me. In the dream I kept shaking my boyfriend but he did not wake up so I was jumping over him. Well the next thing I know I am almost on the floor and my boyfriend was grabbing my around my waist. It turns out I was actually shaking him and he did wake up, he tired to calm me down but the next thing you know I was jumping straight towards the window of our second story bedroom. He said that I looked awake but he could not get through to me. He said it was like I did not even see him.
Weird stuff indeed, crazy story too 67christine but seriously, the state of sleep is really something very interesting and I believe its something where a lot of research can be made.
lol I actually talked to someone about the lucid dreaming because there was a time in my life where things were... yea, anyways when I told him about the lucid dreaming, he tried to get me on anti-psych's. I gave him the middle finger and never payed for his misleading feedback again.
