    Default Withdraw Curse

I'm just wondering if any of yous have experienced the Withdraw Curse?

After you make a withdrawl from a poker site, you can't seem to win another hand after that? You've lost every tournament to a bad bead...... etc, no matter how much you change your play up, you can't win.

I seem to be going through this @ carbon..... LOL, i've withdrawn a few times there, but since the last one, I can't win a darn hand. I can flop a boat, but then lose to a bigger boat, straight flush, etc...... kinda sucks, I hope it doesn't last much longer, I don't want to deposit there again until my curse is lifted.....

Just FYI for all, and you 24/7.I made a large withdrawl there last year, had twice as much in my account, never won nothing again.Although it wasn't all on poker it did seem odd, also the same thing happened at Absolute,I just quit playing at both.It is rather funny you play well enough to get built up,cashout and then as you said bad beat after bad beat.Just odd I suppose.

wow, i'm sorry i asked about the withdraw curse....... lol, I know it's NOT a curse but it's something to blame.... lol.... the hubby's friend owns an online poker site, maybe a couple of them (i'm not sure) and he explained how these things are done.... anyway, I was upset about a reply to my curse question, but big deal, it's not going to ruin my night..... maybe i'll deposit @ carbon and see if my curse will be lifted with the added positive variants.........

good luck on the tables tonight all, i wish you all big POTS and the best FLOPS! cya's tomorrow @ carbon, hopefully I'll be back on the winning streak......

    What a fun thread....

Withdraw curse - No such thing, shame tho as then i could blame a lot on it

Variance - The answer to all poker losses (unless you suck, then sucking is the answer)

Sand - please calm down!!! Im positive (and i know this for a fact) NWH meant well, you can misread a post on here (christ, i make evil posts all the time but everyone luckily knows im joking about). Lets all just get along (this post wasnt about you anyway!!!) So yes... alls good.

NWH - i can kinda see how the tone of your post was missunderstood. I know what you meant though. Please let it drop though... ill even fix you up a ****tail!:P Well... if i ever get to the US. But ill drink one and think of ya!

Dabber - i love you too.

Eejit - Should be a psychologist

It's ONLY logical about the curse seriously, think about it in the correct way:

You are playing, you withdraw, but you keep playing same levels, but now with less cash, what happens with a bad streak, you lose the rest, its very simple

I shall see you all tonight guys

OK USC,riddle me this. You start with a 100 dollars ok.You cash out 2k, you have twice as much in your account. Then you never win again,I guess I am just a bad player, because they took 4k from me in less than a month, could be that I am a donk.

    Well man, first of all:

Do you BELIEVE in the cashout curse? Cause if you do you are then taking a negative approach at the upcoming games you will play because you think you will get cursed and this and that, if it is that way, then wait till you have $10k and then cashout some i just dunno, there's no curse just the way we look at these things, good runs gotta end, most often they end with a witdrawal because you are not able to withstand as much variance as with your previous BR

Dont get me wrong, I get screwed like this all the time mate...

I know exactly what you're talking about. Check out the thread (disconnections) no one seems to agree with me but I know that it plays a factor in how successful you are after the withdrawl. In addition I believe it plays a roll in Bonuses as well.

Nah, I still strongly believe this is all in your head and the possitive/negative approach you take after a loss that occurs after a withdrawal has been made

so your saying negitive thoughts make us lose 300 hands in a row to runner runner gutshots ??????

Truth is, we will never know at the level we're at in the industry. I don't know what to believe but I do find it hard to believe that using a poker tracker for online poker and loosing 300 after withdrawing are not related in some form.

I dont think you can lose 300 hands in a row, less do I think you can lose those exact 300m hands to runner runners lol, lets get real man, there is NO CASHOUT CURSE lmao.....its just a person's way to justify the entire loss of a remaining bankroll after a withdrawal has been completed....

I read the '300' wrong, I thought I read 300 dollars. Okay well I have been 1 point away on 3 sites for my bonus to clear and then going bust. It could be a coincidence but I find it hard to believe. It's like on the merge network, when you loose a big hand in a sit n go. If you call all in the next hand it's like a 80% chance you will win..

Bonuses you have to forget they are there, once you complete the offer you will get it, just dont play sweating the completion of a bonus because, to tell you the truth, I have been there as well and the pure anxiety of releasing that amount can bust you out FAST!

Good point. In all honesty my anxiety get's pretty bad. But do you hear me on how the cards are generated, there is some sort of system in place...

No man, the exact same chances you have of hitting a flush, a straight, a pair, or anything are both on live and online poker. Online poker site Random Number Generators have all these probabilities in place, yeah you see much many more weird hands, but why? because whie you play 1 hand in 5 minutes on a live game, you also play 5-10 hands in the same 5 minutes online, so you are seeing at least 5-10 more hands than on a live game LOL
