ftp check issues

ok i got my withdrawl check from ftp asap i deposited it to my bank and i got call from them today saying it was not honored ok so now i am so pissed its ridiculous and i have emailed support because now im worried

must be a FT error as surely there cant be a problem with the cashouts there.

Ewww that sounds bad, have you ever cashed an FTP check at your bank?

Also, get ready to wait at least 24 hours for their super support to answer... this is one thing I dont change stars for anything, their ultra fast support, something like this would get answered within the hour at stars and you could at least know what's going on, but with FTP ewww hope it all settles...

good luck with getting this resolved soon, i'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, maybe somebody at the bank is new and doesn't know how to process these checks? hopefully it's something simple!

OK the deal is, there are a lot of fake checks going around for one, and secondly a lot of banks don't ever gets these types of checks, as most people that have a bank accoutn do not request a check when cashing out.

I had this same problem in April when I got my check from FTP. I also did not have a bank account so I was running around to all the different check cashing places, and they all were very skeptical of wether the check was real or not. I thought I was bever going to get it cashed, and I knew that it was a real check, but these people don't, so now what? Well the last place I went, said they would do it, but they wouldn't give me any of the money till the check cleared. 2 days later, the check cleared and I got my money, and now anytime I go back there they know it is real, and will pay me immediately!

John, like I told you in the chat box, just talk to your banck, explain as much as you can, and tell them you will be willing to wait while they process and wait for the check to clear to be paid.

Moneybookers is crap, i doubt there is one yet at all, I do think Obama will bring change and you will prove wrong on this eejit...

It is possible that the case could be because it is an international check. Most banks are not familiar with such and do not know how to process them or give you an expected time of clearance for the check. I deposited a check from Carbon for 4500 and it took 2 and 1/2 weeks to clear when they said it would clear by midnight. The reason is because it was an international and there wasn't any contact info (like a number) for the bank responsible. The check came from Canada.

Well most of these big sites have banks that process their payouts mostly from the UK, maybe you are better off cashing it at a check cashing place without going through your bank John

I had a couple of checks from Pokerstars that I took to a check cashing center and they wouldn't let me do it because of the contact information. There wasn't a way for the check cashing place to contact the bank.. Best of luck though, I would use a 3rd party after this, despite the fees.
