Disconnections

I have been disconnected from poker clients for a short amount of time and having to repair the connection manually. What's ironic about this is that I would still have connection on another computer in my house. It has happened while I am in big pots or even final tables. It just seems strange to me that it would happen 90% of the time in large pots with a winning hand or at the final table.

Anyone else experience these issues?

It happens to everyone, but just like I mentioned if you cant make it back into a tourney on stars after being disconnected, you can just email them asking for a refund, they will most likely grant it to you

No, i DC because of wireless, it isnt perfect. ive DCd in all kinds of pots. If its the sites fault, they will "fess up" and credit you, if its your fault for 5 mins and u blind down a bit, tough i guess

I totally agree with you eejit, but you can also attempt a claim and at least stars will refund you in most cases

True, stars and FT will credit you a maority of the time, if you dont take the p!ss.

Mainly as they love their reputations, and whats $200 to them when they make that in the time it took me to blink

Exactly, but pretty good customer service and customer satisfaction man, that's what's got the up where they are

Well, that's the processor fan mate. Everytime you do something on the PC, any process like having the poker up and running your PC is constantly processing that info and at times the core of your motherboard's processor may get hotter with all the processes going on, therefore fan speed will increase maintaining the core at an optimum temperature so it wont damage the processor
