We should wait on Borg or Klink, much better at this than me.I hate heads up, was drunk last nite or timberdogs would have crushed me.I don't play any heads up trneys,I know ya gotta win heads up eventually.I just wait till I have to.I used to play, didn't fair real well at them.

My thoughts on the first hand are that his raise on the flop is for information. He was trying to pick up the pot with a big bet hoping you would fold. Alot of heads up players are overly aggressive with just big cards. The turn was basically a continuation bet hoping you didn't hit anything to improve your hand, which he figured you would pitch into the muck. You push told him you were serious and he wasn't going to chase an over against a possible 2 pair.

    very nice, someone gets heads-up!

I figured maybe A rag giving him a low pair best kicker type hand, or overcards, or maybe even 77 or 88.

My push basically gets him off any single pair, or straight draw with 1 card to come (well he may call with a draw), plus if i am in some way beat, i have multiple outs to win the pot, thereby giving me the fold equity and value from the push.

First hand is a risky play. While he could be firing back at your continuation bet, he could also have a hand. I do call here. The turn is where you learn a lot. I imagine he either has a flush draw, or went "oh ****" at your call. I have him on a 5, a 6, or a flush draw here. Or he just wants to take over the hand. He doesnt have a 9, his turn bet would be bigger, ready to get you out of the hand (assuming he is intelligent). Little bit risky, but I like it.
