    Default New Years Resolution

Just a thread for everyone to post their new years resolution (only if you are willing)

It can be poker related or not. Mine is actually to start running about 3 days per week. Right now i go to the gym consistently but only run once in awhile.

    What is yours?

Well, I hate making resolutions, they never hold out. BUT, before I turn 25 which is in January, I plan to quit smoking, and once I do that, I hope to start jogging daily! We'll see how it goes!

Last year I resolved to quit procrastinating, but I spent the whole year procrastinating on that.

For the year 2009 I am going to try and eat healthier. I love chocolate so I am not sure how that is going to work out.

I have serious ones (none of these are jokes)

1 - Quit smoking by May
2 - Actually make a poker profit plan and stick to it for f***ing once.
3 - Either work abroad again this year, or visit Vegas in October (all invited)
4 - Find a new girl (Split up with mine in September, havent even looked since. Get ots of offers doing what i do, but they are either too drunk, too ugly (yeah yeah i know personality, but come on.... theres gotta be a comprimise) too boring ( im intelligent, thick peope frustrate me, or too girlie. (How much of an asshole do i sound?)
5 - Win a WSOP prelim event seat. NOt difficult, its jsut getting down to doing it
6 - Become an NDN mod again (seriously)
    7 - Have more fun

I do not think that makes you sound like an asshole. You know what you want, there is nothing wrong with that.

i never planned on making a new year's resolution at all, last year it was to "QUIT, QUITTING" meaning I'm not going to try and quit anything anymore..... lol, and I didn't quit a thing.

But last month I was hanging out with my neice and she was asking me to quit smoking all the time and one day (I guess i was just happy it being the holidays and I was surrounded by family, I promised her I'd try)

Guess what, I haven't had a cigarrette since January 1st..... YIPPEEEE, it's a bit hard, but when i think about the $100 I prob saved already, makes it worthwhile, just hope i can keep it up

(but when I"m playing poker, I crave cigs.... lol, but if i beat the smoking habit, i can use the $ saved to put on poker sites!)

I quit smoking almost two years ago.

Sunflower seeds and shredded beef jerky (comes in a tin like chewing tobacco) kept my mouth busy enough to help me quit.

my plan to help me quit smoking was to always have a pack of smokes so I wont crave them. You know, if you don't have a smoke you want it....... so i figure if I always have a smoke IF i want it, it's there....... but then the cranky ole' man who is a smoker smoked my pack and thinks he doesn't have to buy me a pack if i'm quitting? MEN huh? doesn't know logic when it's right in front of them.........
