    Default Film Reviews!!!!

We dont have one of these, so post new or unheard of good / bad films youve seen recently. Ill kick it off. PLEASE NO SPOILERS!

Over Xmas ive watched thef ollowing.

    Death Race (Jason Statham).

Great opening chase sequence. All about prisons being sold to commercial buyers and "Death races" being held for convictcs to win freedom. 5 Race wins and your out. In the opening bit a public hero "Frankenstein" is killed (not a spoiler, happens after 25 seconds) and the story is about Statham exacting revenge for a murder he did not commit, using the only weapons he has, his driving skills, and the million missiles on his car. Great action film - no real plot. Awesome car scenes, direction is good for wha should be a mediocre driving film. Bad point - awful ending. Bits of poor continuity. No-ones perfect. A film for men, and for the women Statham is suppose is a sex symbol nowadays.

    7.5/10

    Taken (Liam Neeson).

All reviews for this film said it was rubbish. Too obvious. Bad acting e.t.c. I liked it in some ways, but others not so much. Acting is ok, but Neeson was cast i think as an average man who just learnt some extraordinary skills when he worked for the CIA. His daughter gets "taken", and the film is him getting her back. Some decent twists (if u can call them that) but the film does jump to conclusions occasionally, showing Neeson getting from one conversation about a bbuilding site which they neglect to tell him where it is, to him driving up to the exact building site, after a cut-away, which was weird, but maybe i missed something. Good story, average film.

    6/10.

You dont mess with the ZOHAN (Adam sandler)

Sandler films are always awesome, this is no exception. Funny, witty, downright crazy, a good laugh for all the family. (over 16 i guess). Mocks Israelis and Palestines to a funny level, ut nothing serious. Good family undertones, and the sex scenes are just hilarious. Sandler "bangs" an 80 y/o!!! Great ending, not his best (Happy Gilmore is naturally 10/10) but still a good film that was worth downloading.

    7/10.

To come soon, Quantum of solace (ive seen it but forgot most of it), The dark knight, Saw 5, and YES Man.

But one film i did see was THE BUCKET LIST. Was one of the best films i saw so far this year. Its about two terminally ill man that leave their hospital ward and set out to complete a list of things to do before they die. Staring Morgon Freeman & Jack Nicholson. Must see movie.

    EAGLE-EYE (Shai LeBeouf)

Firstly - wow. Great film, highly recommended. Fast paced action thriller. Good casting, acting, script. Some great writing and some funny 1-liners too, including the part about turning a train into a plastic duck. Not gonna say anything else incase you havent seen it, but i suggest you do. Great film, only slight problem is its a little too far fetched. And it never lets up.

    10/10

Just saw Benjamin Button with brad pitt.... and coming from an action/comedy guy i actually really enjoyed the movie. It is a great/ interesting story, but the only downplay is that is long at 2 hours and 47 minutes.

    I give it an 8/10

eejit are you really that crazy! Zohan was the worst movie Sandler ever made and he said himself he was stupid for doing it, but the money made him. Sandlers movies are ok to an extent likeHappy Gilmore but there is only so much you can take. His stand-up is so much better. I think you should shave........

    Nah man chicks dig this.

And yeah, but think for a sec, a BAD sandler film is still better than 75% of other films. Hence, 7/10!

I was not a fan NeverWin.

I got my hopes up way too high for that movie and I thought it was a big let down!
