    Post Super bowl poll

What do you think of doing a superbowl poll NDN. We can use points to buy the boxes. I think i could set it up. let me know what you think about this. Thanks dallas.

You mean buy numbers and do it by quarters? Or what? You mean like an office pool right?

We do what we call a superbowl poll. it is were you pick a box and when all the boxes are filled we put numbers on those boxes and at the end of every quarter what ever the score is you win that quarter. exm: say you have 7 and 3 and that quarter ends 7 3 you win that quarter.the box has two sides numbers on top and on the side. hope this helps.

If you want to send me some examples (or a link to an example) I will do my best to get one going.

    Thanks,

Its a 2 sided square numbers 0-9 on each of the sides, theres 100 boxes. You get your boxes full, then randomly draw 10 nimbers for one side, then the other. You will have Nfc on one side and Afc on the other.

    NFC

    5 7 9 1 4 0 3 2 8 6
    A 2
    5
    F 7
    C 8
    9
    6

ok see thats sloppy, but u C the jist. Now you will have 10 boxes on top line, and all the way down.suppose the AFC wins 22-6 the person with the #s 2 on the AFC side and 6 on the other wins. We usually play for each Quarter. So at one dollar a box there would be 4 25 dollar prizes. Or just the final, great game if ya got enuff folks.

this is a great idea i think and if you start selling squares now for the super bowl they should be all sold out by the super bowl. if you sell them 40 chips per box you would have 4000 in pool. each quarter would be worth 1000 chips and you could pay forwards and backwards to have more winner. 750 chips forward for each quarter and 250 for backwards for each quarter. just a thought.

This here was last years or course..

You could just do one on paper and take a photo of it, if you wanted to.

I would be in. But we need enough to fill it completely.

Thanks for all the help everyone.

So correct me if I am wrong, but it would look something like this:
    https://www.nodepositneeded.com/sbpool.php

I would fill all of the boxes first, and then draw the numbers at random to make it fair for everyone?

Let me know if I am missing anything. Otherwise, I will get this going right away.

    Thanks,
    NDN

Would/should there be any limits as to how many boxes one person can have?

How many chips would everyone like to spend per box?

Might want to start a thread with a poll on it for how many chips per square and a limit on how many someone can buy. Plus what percent of chips are going by quarter and for the final. Like 15% each quarter and 40% for final score. Get my drift?

I like 15%/Quarter and 40%/Final - Lets keep that unless anyone has any objections.

How does 200 chips/square sound? With a limit of 3 per person?

I think I prefer a discussion over a poll so I can get this up quickly!

Feel free to give your input everyone!

    Thanks,
    NDN

Maybe we should give the option if it does not fill for people to buy the last spots the day of the game? Or if it is not full, say no one wins the first quarter it carries over to the 2nd quarter prize pool, and if no one wins the 2nd quarter, it all carries over to the third and so on. I takes quite a few people to fill those things up. 20,000 chip prize pool is HUGE if it is 200 points a square! This will be fun!!

That's a great idea. I like 200 chips a box with a 5 box limit. That allows 20 people to buy in at the max.

    Just to make sure....

I can put the names into any box correct? Since I am doing the numbers randomly after all the boxes are filled it won't make a difference where I put them?

Well usually what happens is,the guy running the square or box as we call it.He or she brings it around you put your name, and some have phone numbers, in a box.Once you have all your boxes are full you do the number thing, some roll dice, some draw numbers. In our case whatevers easiest, works either way, cause we don't know where numbers are or the score so as long as it's in before game time its purely luck.
