I've spent a bit of time thinking about this and trying to get my picks lined up through week 17. CLE is one of the teams I was thinking of picking for week 14.
There are a few other possibilities.
Being that Cleveland is a bad team with nothing to play for on the road, I guess it will be a popular pick.
I guess I'll wait until Thursday to see what you came up with.
After the picks are posted, come back on the thread and tell us why you didn't pick Cleveland. I'd be interested to hear your reasoning behind whichever team you plan to pick instead of Cleveland.
Clevland stinks, for that matter so do the giants, hate both!!!
Cleveland will lose but i am holding on to them for a later game.
LOL
I can understand hating the giants, but they stink?! Really?
They are 11-1 and have won every divisional game so far.
They've won games against good teams with some key players out such as Brandon Jacobs and Plaxico Burress.
Which team is better than them right now?
sorry i forgot to respond on why i made this post and it wasn't for any "insider knowledge" of the cleveland game... I just wanted to mix things up a bit! and i guess it kind of worked
My new reason for hatin another NY team is 62.50, however I really did not need any more reasons.Of course I see the Yankee's continue there splendid way's.Ok if your a Yankee fan, wouldn't you rather players came thru the system? Is it fair to smaller markets? This year my two favorite teams are the Rays and anyone playing the Yankee's.
Personally, I don't care for the yankees too much.
Although I follow sports, I'm not really emotionally invested in any team. Sometimes I root against the yankees just to get on other people's nerves (I live in NYC).
I do think it is much more exciting and rewarding when players that come up through the minor league system work together to win a championship.
If you remember, the good yankees teams from 1996-2001 had a core of good players that played hard. Very few superstars but some great teams with good starting pitching and an excellent bullpen.
Trying to buy good players through free agency has not worked too well for the yankees.
