I was doing this in the past, but the system allows you to change your birthday and receive points each time so I had to put an end to that.

gamblers will find a way to even the odds a bit..is that cheating or creative money advancement?

It's not gambling if you can put the odds in your favor right...

I wouldn't say that. You call card counting at blackjack gambling don't you?

If you can do it with perfection I wouldn't call it gambling. The MIT guys/gals didn't call it gambling (according to the movie anyways).

True, that's why you should NEVER play at a casino, LOL

They have the odds IN THEIR FAVOR, it can't be considered gambling at all there either I believe....

how about we reply to a birthday thread with our birthday in it, that way it can't be changed, and if it is, you'd see that we edited our thread to change it..... lol

(this reply has nothing to do with the fact that my birthday is coming, lol)

Unfortunately that would involve a little too much work.

I have the option of having the system automatically credit people with chips on their birthday, but that feature can be abused so I don't use it.

It would create a lot of work to do it manually like you suggested and if I am ever gone it would make it even more difficult to track down any birthdays that I missed.

So this dont work cause people could just change the DOB and get recredited chips for a new date, yeap, not good ND better how it is now.

I would suggest, if its your b-day, just start a thread and NDN will handle it

Totally true, we already get enough chips with other things

I'm cool with taking off the B-Day chips as well

Yea my vote as well to not give chips for birthdays. I have seen other sites reward members for birthdays and once this happened there were about 56 birthdays a day! haha how odd that thing works
