We do also confirm that the e-mail message that you have received was a scam and it intended to steal personal and financial information from Moneybookers customers.

Please excuse us for any inconvenience caused. Please also be advised to change your password immediately if you have inserted your login details on that phishing website. Please note that the website this link redirects you to is not Moneybookers.com - Send Money - Receive Money - Online Payments - Money Transfers, but something else.

Please also note that Moneybookers will always contact you with a greeting including your name and if this is a scam the message will not start with your name - that seems to be the best way to recognize whether a message is a scam or not.

We would highly appreciate if you could forward the entire email, including the link on it, to security@moneybookers.com so that we can have our Security Team shut down that phishing link.

Finally, please be kindly informed that your Moneybookers account is not suspended and is fully operational.
