    Default freeroll win

i won first place at a freeroll at poker.com which was good for $20 and after that i started playing on the real money games and after 4 days of playing made it upto more than $800 and i'll say i was really pretty lucky. i made a $200 withdrawal to see if i can actually make one...lol and yes i can. But then i cant stop playing and cant win at the tables anymore but i still wanted to play more and tried playing blackjack and lost most of the money there. what i really want to say is you have to know when to stop playing and i also think that you should'nt let yourself enjoy too much when playing because in my experience when im enjoying too much i cant keep track of my loses.

Ahhh... what a very nice topic.

I am only just getting back into poker after a year out but this is one of my favourite discussion points. I was heavily involved in poker for approx 3 years, 6 months of which i was playing as a sponsered player. For the most part i would do pretty much what you have done, start with something between £10 and £30 and play it up to a nice sum (the most i think being £2500) maybe withdraw a little but then lose it all. Sometimes over a day, sometimes over a week, but always, always, end up redepositing.

People will talk to you about Bankroll Management, which i believe is fine if you have enough to be playing at a decent level. I personally, and i believe the same to be amongst most gamblers (even some high stakes players), cannot have $200 in my roll and sit at a cash table with $10. This is the standard requirement for Bankroll Management, 20 x Buy In's. That to me is so very boring. I would much rather play with $50 or $100 and take a shot.

I think i would have to have at least $10k in my roll before i started to manage it properly, at least then you are playing for money that is worth winning and not a $10 table where you might hope to win, at best, $1 an hour over a good length of time.

    Just my two cents...

I pretty much have been where all of you are familiar with. Depositing cashing a little, redepositing, redepositing, cashing a little........etc. That's why now I simply play free rolls and free slot money, I deposit when I can cash and play that deposit off most of the time in an effort to win more. Sometimes I do win again too. But most of my time and effort is using their money to win their money. I make it a continual game and havn't tired of it yet in these past two years.
