i am not trying to make fun of the person but i figure if you really want a shot at winning this you would at least take to time and pick a team that is playing but on the other hand its one less person in the winners bracket.

I think you said something along the lines of: oh - i thought we were starting with week 7 or oh - i assumed we were starting with week 7

I was just using that as an example to show everyone how easy it is to be confused (no harm intended). There were many people who thought we were starting with week 7.

Mistakes are easy to make and that's all there is to it!
