    Default Breeder's Cup

The breeder's cup is coming up this weekend. The post draw is tomorrow, and I will have my own personal analysis of the races thereafter. Will Zenyatta stay unbeaten? Can anyone catch Curlin? Who's the most talented two year old? Is Indian Blessing the best sprinter running? Find out this weekend!

I need some advice for any race Sat. For the Breeder's cup, I think it could go either way with Curlin and Casino Drive. I'll do a couple tri-boxes with those two on top both ways. Any advice on any race would be greatly appreciated. I plan on spending the day at Ocala Breeders Sales to wager my bets. Too bad they don't have poker....

Casino Drive is not fast enough to beat Curlin. His win in the Peter Pan was impressive when compared to the 3-year olds running, but is lackluster compared to the 4-year olds in this field. I really don't see any horse beating Curlin this year, but here are my picks for exotics contenders:

    Go Between
    Casino Drive
    Duke of Marmalade
    Student Council
    Fairbanks

I really don't think any other horse has a chance of hitting the board here. Smooth Air is underrated at 50-1, but he's still outclassed, so I can't recommend placing any bets on him.

The NTRA is doing a promotion where everyone places a win and show bet on every race, and the person who ends up with the most profit wins a trip to Las Vegas for the World Series of Handicapping and some other prizes. I'll detail my picks here after I analyze each race

    Win: Curlin
    Place: Fairbanks

    Default Ladies' Classic

Contenders: Zenyatta- Unbeaten and maybe unstoppable
Cocoa Beach- She upset one big favorite, can she do it again?
Carriage Trail- Her run in the Spinster would have been good enough to give Zenyatta a run for her money. I expect her to bounce but you never know.

Pretenders: Music Note-She's the class of the 3 year olds, but that means nothing when you are up against the best older horses. I just cant see her beating the likes of Zenyatta and the rest.
Ginger Punch- We already have seen her lose to Cocoa Beach, and lose badly to Zenyatta. Nothing makes me think she can do better now
Santa Terista, Bear Now-Outclassed, plain and simple

Exotic Bomber-Hystericalady- She will be caught by someone, but I expect her to catch a piece of the money here.
