I like the entertainment
I like the competition
To make a LOT of money
To get into BIG tournaments
Other (please specify)
I play because it's the only entertainment I can find that pays me
$200 a month, without spending any money.
I love competition as well. I only play tournaments under $6 and I have never had a gambling problem. I'm too good at math to waste my money.
I also am well aware of highs and lows with poker and I am diciplined enough
to know when to take a break. Plus my wife wouldn't let me play if I didn't win consistantly.
I play online poker for the women. Nothing turns a woman on more than winning the NDNPT. Wait a minute.....I said that wrong. Nothing gets a wife more annoyed than playing almost every game of the NDNPT and complaining that I might lose my lead. Good thing I'm using the money I've won throughout the season and the extra I've made off it to take her on a vacation
Thats nice, make her happy!
Please stop playing Pool, i cant beat you now, i need a mouse!!!
I'm glad you don't have a mouse. I liked pool at first but I still play it and I just get pissed off too easily. If you beat my score I might have to retire my cue.
Keep getting 84k and running out of time. Gonna go buy a mouse and try it
I play mostly for the competition and the people. Once you have been around long enough people get to know you, and therefore a friendly competition arises. Some of the coolest people i have ever met i met playing poker. I have always loved compettition, and since playing football for so long, all through school, only to be told that i wasnt fast enough or big enough to compete collegiatly, I had to find an outlet for my fiercly competitive spirit, and poker was a calling of sorts for me. Not that im a poker great or anything, but it satifies my spirit, and keeps me from getting my butt handed to me trying to join UFC just for competitions sake!
