Should we stay or go?

ok I got lucky early in season, and got really hammered last night in more ways than one.Thus the reason I am up now.Convetional wisdom says take the 62.50 and run "a bird in the hand" right?However if we play on me and Arsenal have a 1 in 3 chance of winning 125 bucks and one of us would at least win 75.Lol most decisions I have made in the last year have been wrong, so I am going talk to Arsenal and after I get home from work talk to ND, so heres a poll for all you LL players.

First off, congratulations to you both. We have two champions in the first round of the losers league!

I really didn't expect Cleveland to win, so I woke up this morning a little bit surprised!

At the moment, the first losers league is officially over. Arsenal & Lilred will split the championship prize pool and I get to pay myself for the consolation bracket!

Lilred - Just so we are clear, if you and Arsenal decide to continue the contest, it will be an all or nothing situation (you two wouldn't be eligible for the consolation bracket because that would mean I would have to continue making selections each week without anyone else in the bracket).

So, I will leave it up to you two to decide. Just let me know what you choose to do.

On another note, I will fire up another losers league in the next few days. It will likely start again with selections for week 8. This will have very similar rules to the first losers league. However, if this one extends into the playoffs, we will adopt a "any team any time" rule meaning you will be able to select any team to lose in the playoffs at any time even if you have used them during the regular season.

as usual Lilred is way off base,Nd I am sorry.There will be no chance of the 125 now as there was not a single winner so I guess it's over.Me and Arsenal shall split the 125 and you are consalation winner.Man I hope I got it right this time, sorry again ND.I really need to stop drinking,that late into the night.I am going to be late,I am sure ND will straighten this out cause I am confused again.

2. Continue the contest with Arsenal and battle it out until there is one man standing. The last one standing would get the $125 and the loser would get $0.

A split is great with me. After being lucky enough to have Cleveland beat the Giants I figure I'd better quit while I am ahead and look forward to season 2. Thanks for putting all this together NDN. This site is second to none.
