    Default Poker marathon?

Sorry, but I just had to tell someone, Last night I entered a freeroll tourney at Absolute, almost 7 hours and 1,998 players later, I finished in 2nd place! If you play poker and have never gone the distance in a 2,000 player tourney, then you're missing one heck of an intense, adrenaline rush.

Yes have done that at AP... but did not finish 2nd ... 4th :P is my best there... and its not a rush ... IT IS TIRESOME :( ... really TIRESOME :( ... the rush is at the start for the first 2 hours where there are plenty of opportunities to play LOTTO POKER ... all those all ins BUT.... BUT.... then it is monotonous ... relief follows knowing that there is now only 2 tables left... which is when the tiredness :( starts to creep in... especially at 4am in the morning... and then all you want to do is end it quick (because you need sleep) thinking that people would be happy to go all in ... only to find that NOPE  ... they want to delay it  ... they want a good hand to win all yer chips ... but you decide to throw down a few more schooners of the amber liquid ... which is great and you feel that you have an edge on everyone else until you go all in on a shocking hand 72 os thinking that they will come up because they did when you had them earlier :P .... ONLY TO FIND NOTHING BUT A's AND K's GET FLOPPED WHICH IS SOOOOOO VERY CONVENIENT FOR YOUR OPPONENT BECAUSE HE/SHE HAS AK os  .... AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH    and all because you had an extra helping of the ol' amber liquid ..... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzz...........

Sorry people, just my way of looking at it when there are 2000 people in a tournament... :P

CONGRATS! I best I have done in any tourney was 2nd place as well, but I think there were about 750 in my tourney. It is pretty amazing, especially once you hit that last table! It was a freeroll and I won $3, lol.

    Default Poker Marathon Continues!!!

Well, as if I had not had enough, I had nothing to do last night so I entered the absolute freeroll again. The tourney ended for me when there were 6 players left and I had just over $1,000,000 in my bank.
The closest threat had $390,000. While chatting, I found out that none of the other 5 players had ever been to an ap challenge tourney, and since I had already won a seat for this Saturday, I decided to intentionally lose my bank and finish 6th place. I could have easily just sat on my strong lead and allowed the huge antes and blinds win the tourney for me, but like they say, "What goes around, comes around" so I purposely lost everything in aout 8 hands. The other players didn't have a clue why I was throwing my huge bank away until I said that they were all going to the AP Challenge on Saturday and that I'd see them there.
