    Default worst of the worst

playing an aussie millions qualifier ....at the final table in the small blind...
6 of us left I have roughly 8000 chips the big blind has about 9k and the blinds are 200/400 all fold to me and I have ace 5 i raise preflop 4000 chips half my stack....the big blind calls ....the flop is ace 5 3 I go all in with top 2 pair....when the cards turn over he has 2 4 offsuite and flopped a str8....turn and river are nothing ,......again I know this sounds conspiracy minded but how in the hell do you call 10x the BB with a 2 4 offsuite at the final table.....

    Bummer, sorry to hear that.

Was a strange call with the 2 4, but I've done it before. Sometimes you just get bored!

    Good luck in the future.

They are stupid plays... but I play anything if I am the big blind... MY QUESTION IS THIS.... WHY ARE YOU RAISING WITH AN A5... THAT in itself I feel is a bad call... were you trying to scare him off with your hand... what if he had a bigger hand like AA... but then what people do in online poker is just typical of this situation... THEY LOVE TO GO ALL IN... ITS LIKE A DRUG... ITS LIKE A HIGH...

Keep trying Hayden and don't get discouraged by some stupid wagering by other players... I learn't the hard way playing certain hands... I guess I would have played that hand different... I would have only called and then let him take the first bite... usually they will indicate to you the strength of their hand after a flop like that... then the hardest thing to do would be to lay down a hand like that if they come in real hard after the flop... I just feel if you just called you may have lost less chips in this hand... but still depends on the situation and how good you are at laying down hands...LOL
