    Default Scary hand...thoughts?

What do you put him on, and what do you do? That hand nearly confused the hell out of me.

he is either running the bluff or he spiked his set of jacks on the river not knowing the player makes it a bit harder

    Agree with Lilred36

I would guess either A9 suited or AJ suited, the river bet is a "scare you off" type of bet so I think we are correct Lilred36, lol

I guess this hand is a lot more interesting when you know his hole cards...

The hands I put him on were JJ, QQ, or AK.

    He had...

    KQos

How about pocket 9's and no more money for you. Hopefully, though, he just had 57 offsuit...GL

I understand his play because of your play. He put you on a hand that didn't hit squat on the flop, turn, or river. He figured that you missed and his bet would push you off the hand. You didn't show ANY strength post flop with your hand. He checked into you on the flop to see what you did. Your check told him "I have nothing." He bet the turn and you called. He put you on something with big cards, but no pair. The river acted as a scare card. He figured you would consider him to have AJ and you would be beat and fold. Unfortunately for him you had AA and rolled him perfectly. Great win.
