This sint big at all guys, nothing to worry about, they are regulating illegal gaming sites that operate from within KY.

They can not touch off shore sites at all, the only thing they can do and I know has been done a few years back in Italy is to BLOCK the access to any website through the ISP service provider.

In other words they can go to, for example, KY Verizon and tell them to block access to PokerStars to every KY citizen.

Now this happened in italy 3 years ago and it FAILED.

Why?, you say...well, because the poker sites found that they could redirect their customers through different servers to be able to download the software.

    In other words, DONT WORRY

This is good actually that they are eliminating ILLEGAL and UNLICENSED sites

Just so you know, PokerStars and FullTiltPoker are on the docket. And they have already have been in contact with GoDaddy and other registrars, and have seized numerous domain names, INCLUDING DoylesRoom.com

If you think this is a small issue, I suggest you read up a bit more.

Well, if this is the case then for sure it will fail like in Italy, sites will find alterante servers to offer software downloads

It will also create so much discontent, why cant they let people do whatever they want with their cash??? geeez....what a free world huh?

    Thanks Lilred36

I do remember Italy goverment blocking PokerStars domain and stars just set up an alternate software download server, so they were never EVER able to stup Italian players from getting onto PokerStars
