Happened twice in the last two days!!

Day 1:

I am dealt pocket 9. Flop comes 9Q2. Only two people still in play. I push all in since i had the smaller stack. He instantly calls and shows pocket Q. Just my luck.

Today:

Dealt 6 9 on the big blind. Opponent calls. (Which is what i still cant figure out, but it worked.) The flop comes 6K6. I'm the larger stack so i check, setting a trap and hoping he has a K. He raises, so I reraise. He moves all in so i call. He shows pocket K.

All I can say is that's poker

Were they those 2 hands in particular for both days?

Regardless, I'm sorry to hear that but you can't do anything different in those positions and your absolutely right, that's poker. Because if you really think about it, what would you have changed?
