Default How to know when today is a good poker day?

Since I have been playing mtt's almost everyday for 14 years, I have some advice that might be helpful. I have noticed that my game changes all the time, but, the most important variable in winning or losing, is patience.
When I am winning it's only because I am patient. Sure I have won playing loose, but overall, loose play gets the best of me most times.
So, if you start out playing and you feel antsy or a need to play too many hands, that's a good day to do something else.

Good advice Ringo as it's never good to do much of anything when your in an antsy mood.

I like to play pressure free and when I have the proper time for it. This also involves ignoring the chat box.

    Primary good advice.

If I am feeling emotional at all, I am likely to lose patience and my game always suffers.

Than you also should know that there are times when the table dynamics say its optimal to play loose and sometimes it says play tight or in between, just depends on players and stacksizes. You can't say one thing is more optimal than one other. Maybe it just works better for you.

And of course in general playing tight in Mtt's when you start them is usually the good play.
