From time to time, I often find myself wondering why things are the way they are.

So from now on, when I wonder something, I'll share it here in case anyone else has wondered the same thing.

Having heard conflicting reports on whether or not Q-Tips are bad for you over the years, I decided to head to Google to find out.

This is the article that I found most useful:

Now I've vowed to go Q-Tipless in the past, but was discouraged by friends and family telling me that would be disgusting. However, I am no longer going to fear the judgment of others, so from today onward I am going Q-Tipless!

One more thing that I decided to research today was the purpose of the Num Lock key.

I used Wikipedia to learn its original purpose:

However, I am still left puzzled as to why we have the stupid key. To date, I have never ONCE needed to use the Num Lock key. BUT, it has been a hindrance on a MILLION different occasions.

Someone should petition the computer companies to get rid of the Num Lock key once and for all!

and replace it with a "mousepad lock" for those of us with wireless ability it sucks to have it on im hitting it and finding my text all jumbled up by this ....give me a mousepad turnoff button please

My last checkup a couple years ago and first in over 10 years, the nurse said I had incredibly clean ears. I don't clean my ears I said. She said that is probally why they are so clean.
