Post Note: My stuffed Lake Trout I caught some 300 miles north of International Falls MN, where there are no roads, had to pontoon plane in, met it's demise this (fall) when a door slammed and it crashed to the floor and broke into 4 pieces.. I do have my large mouth bass I caught in 1972 in the then dead Lake Erie.

I went to Nashville this Summer (fn gas prices keeping me closer to home

Lake Erie trip was the last leg of visiting Canada ,Quebec, Prince Edward Islands and then a ferry to Maine and then back home to MN all in a Winnabego when gas was still under a buck
