**CLOSED** Losers League Contest - Session Two

The second session of the Losers League Contest is almost upon us!

The rules remain unchanged, but the selection process becomes a bit more simple!

Just to refresh everyone's memory, this is how the contest works:


Selections are due by Wednesday at 11:59pm ET - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please make a note of the special Wednesday deadline to accommodate for Thursday games!

The second session starts with week 11 games of Thursday, November 17th, Sunday, November 19th, and Monday, November 20th.

To be eligible to participate in the second session of this year's Losers League, your entry must be received by Wednesday, November 16th at 11:59pm ET!

The concept is simple; select an NFL team to lose each week (point spreads are not a factor).

You can select a team only once during each session until the playoffs. During the playoffs, the 'any team any time' rule applies, meaning you can pick any team you'd like regardless of whether or not you used them during the regular season.

If your selection wins ... YOU LOSE !!!!!

If your selection ties ... YOU LOSE !!!!!

If you repeat your selection ... YOU LOSE !!!!

If your selection is not in by 11:59pm ET on Wednesday... YOU LOSE !!!!

If you lose once, you fall into the consolation bracket.

If you lose twice, you are a true loser!

After it is all said and done there is one winner of the Championship Bracket ($50) and one winner of the Consolation Bracket ($25).

Throughout the season, please continue to send me a private message each week with your selections and remember to get them to be before the deadline! Because we are taking a relaxed approach with this contest, there won't be too many reminders, so it's up to you to get your selections in on time each week! If you could kindly use a subject line in the format of "Week Eleven Selection" each week I would greatly appreciate it!

If you are still in the first session, please make sure to clearly state which session each of your selections is for!

Yup didnt think the eagles game would be meaningless, so they took it easy and rested some guys but it back fired for me. But im sticking to my guns and picking the boys to win against the giants in the season finale. They have to start everyone they can this game

with our having the season cut in half(to improve chances of having the game go to playoffs).....this may be a rule to drop in the next game.....I placed my loser decisions this session 2 based on the team being from the lower end so I wouldn't have to worry about them being in the PO games as a choice (yes becuz i hadn't read this rule.you guys know me so well....my bad).....loser picks were comfortable for me and my feelings are that this rule was needed when we went a full year but in the next two session loser pick game should be considered obsolete..IMO. I love this game. thanks NDN

The LL is always two sessions; always has been and always will be.

The reason for this is because in the 20+ years we've been doing it locally (this is something that started in my family and has grown to be quite large), I can't recall a single time anyone has come anywhere near going a full season. And in the rare event that someone does go that far, it's unlikely they'd have much competition, so we hold a second session to have something to do with the rest of the season!

If we didn't have a "PO" rule then we wouldn't have a second session.
