Face it, fellow Americans: WE SUCK! And it won't get any better until members of the working class have enough access to the game, including practice and competent instruction, to fulfill their potential. As it stands right now, the country club set sees the working class as the "great unwashed," similar to the Three Stooges in "Half-Wit Holiday" or "Hoi Polloi." They hold the working class in comtempt, and continue to guarantee that only a bunch of spoiled brats will get tour cards. If a working class US player gets a card, it is because he was either extremely lucky, overcame ridiculous odds, or both.

same could be said about Hockey... its more expensive to play than golf

... Americans in general are gonna start becoming less prevalent in all sports, thanks to video games... except basketball, which is pretty much free to play anywhere, and very popular w the lower class of society that dont have X-boxes and Playstations
