just got back from KC... visited Ameristar, Harrahs, Argosy, Isle of Capri, and 7th street in KC Kansas
Argosy was by far the funnest, Atmosphere, etc... but no poker room... Harrahs and Ameristar had pokers rooms, but neither were as big or crowded as Harrahs St. Louis poker room usually is
Isle of Capri sucked A5s
7th street was weird, it wasnt a riverboat, it was like a old government style building in the middle of downtown w 4-5 floors of slot machines
I lost 150$, didnt gamble much, just ate some BBQ and hung out in the Power and Light District, which is cool
Im in St. Louis... Have made the drive to Chicago- 4.5hrs, Memphis- 4hrs, KC- 3.5hrs, Metropolis- 2.5 hrs... each trip is like 500$ budget, room, food, gambling, alcohol... next is Indy I think, some racetrack/poker rooms, looks like a 3.5 hr drive or so
