My second favorite movie this year was the Smurfs

The Beaver we had to quit watching 1/2 way through.

Mel Gibson talking to himself was hard to enjoy.

District 9 isn't without its rough edges. It's a bit obvious and doesn't take as full advantage of its premise as it could. But it's also a visually spectacular and cares mostly about its characters, and that's a rare thing in film today.

I must say I agree that District 9 is quite possible the worst movie created in quite a long time. I tried to watch it per the recommendation of Eejit101 (thanks for that ***) and it was dreadful!

Sex Drive & Role Models are both great movies, but you can't watch the censored versions or they're no good, so make sure you find the rated R versions.

Role Models is awesome!!! So watch it or ill slap you in your whispering eye.

and Sex Drive is funny. The R rated version is.... a bit weird. I quite like both versions. Seth Green makes it what it is though. "fixing all your sh!t for free. Yeah...."
