After a trip to Tenn then an epic weekend at the Plumas Pines Condo on the 4th fairway and watching the fireworks at the Mill Pond in Graeagle, then the waterparks for my neices birthday party in Reno last weekend, I finally had some time to relax. While trying to research an old Miadu Indian trading post some 10 miles from where I live, I clicked on a link to the Plumas National forest and I noticed that you could rent a lookout cabin for only $60. REALLY? I found one only 30 miles from here and managed to rent it for Saturday night Aug 6th. WOW, I am so excited.
I can even bring my dogs. Can't believe there was a saturday night left.
I shall take lots of pictures. Wish I could upload a video here at NDN?
I am becoming a video bum with my Kodak Sport Play waterproof camera.
Best wishes everyone and I hope you are all making the best of your summer. P.S. I did manage to play 1 poker tourney for $11 and finished 30th out of 178. Kowabunga P>S>2 it sleeps 4 and has a fridge.

it was so windy up there, people wrote that when it rained it blew through the cracks around windows LOL at 1 am the heater barely kept the place warm

Beautiful and yet scary in a way!

Yes the view was spectacular and the drinks were strong!
The stairs became an issue everytime we needed to use the bathroom, but we managed to not injure ourselves. Next summer I am throwing a party up there and inviting 20+ people.
