Default **CLOSED** Weekly Play Money Screenshot Contest - July 5 - 11

This week we are having a screenshot contest where the winner will receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card.

If you'd like to compete in this contest, please follow the instructions below:

    1. To participate in this contest, you must have an account at an RTG powered online casino. If you do not already have an account at an RTG powered online casino, we recommend downloading WinPalace Casino (it is free to create an account).

    2. Open your RTG powered online casino and log-in to your account (make sure you check the "play money" tab at the log-in screen).

    3. This week's contest will be played on the Coat of Arms slot machine.

    4. The winner of this contest will be the person who posts a screenshot of the highest bonus round total on this game.

    5. You must take your screenshot upon the completion of your bonus round when it still says "feature completed" on the screen (like you'll see on the image below).

    6. When posting your screenshot, please reply to this thread and include your screenshot, the casino where you were playing, and your casino username (for verification purposes).

    7. If you are not familiar with how to take a screenshot, please read the brief tutorial below our example screenshot.

    Screenshot Example:

    How To Take A Screenshot

Taking a screenshot is actually quite simple. The first thing you need to do is look for the "PrtSC / Sys Req" key on your keyboard that can usually be found near or next to the F12 key.

When you press this button, a copy of your screen is made.

The next thing you'll want to do is open a photo editor program. Paint is the most popular program and can be found by going to Start -- All Programs -- Accessories -- Paint.

Once you have your program open, all you need to do is paste the image that you just copied.

Then, save the file, and upload it directly to your post or add it to a photo sharing website and include a link to the image in your post. Alternatively, you can send me a private message and I'll provide you with an email address where you can send the image.

Should you have any questions about how to create a screenshot, please do not hesitate to ask!

Alrighty; my above post was a test of adding an attachment. I was hoping it would show up small (so we could put some instructions up on how to make them appear big), but my image showed up big.

Therefore, I need someone who's images are showing up small (Hermes or Arsenal at the moment) to let me know the process they go through to add their images.

Preferably, let us know the process from start (taking the picture) to finish (posting the picture) and everything between!

    Many thanks in advance!

I just use the snipping tool to get the screen shot. I think that is why it is bigger!

I press print screen and then paste it in paint. I cut out the casino window to eliminate useless shots of my desktop wall paper, then paste that in a new paint document. Then I save it to my computer. When I am posting I click on the paperclip icon, upload the pic from my computer, and then attach it to my post. Hope that is clear.

Are you saving them that small by chance? What size are the images on your local computer?

We'll figure this out sooner or later.

I'll keep modifying settings, you guys keep attaching your big wins, and we'll eventually solve the problem!

My OS is Windows Vista. Windows Vista has a "snipping tool".

    1) When the bonus is complete, I click on the snipping tool which I keep in my tool bar quick start menu. But can otherwise be found in the programs menu under accessories.

    2) After I click on the snipping tool, I click on the top of the casino window.

    3) The picture of the game opens in a new window.

    4) I click file "top left" then "save as" type in "whatever" then click save.

There you have a nice big screen shot. Very easy! Let me know if you can do it this way. : )

Arsenal - Can you try saving your screenshots in .jpg or .jpeg format instead of .png and then try attaching one to your post?

I could if I knew how, lol. I'll mess with it and see what I can come up with.

So I've used a combo of the snipping tool and saving as a jpeg and it worked.

    Woo hoo! Progress!

I think it was the file type that was causing the problems. But .png is a common file type and that should still have worked, so I'll investigate to see if I can fix that on NDN's end.

Arsenal - One more favor? Could you please attach another .png file for me and we'll see if it works this time around. I disabled the thumbnail (I think), so if it's working properly, we should see your full image right from the start.
