I knew he raised cuz me and the original raiser make a lot of tight folds... when the original raiser folded, I figured I had the best hand, and if I would have re-raised, he would have called me anyways and at best I figure im 60-40, so I just called to keep the pot small and see what I could flop... When I flopped the back door flush and striaght draws, I chkd, again to keep the pot small, if he would have made a huge over bet I would have let it go... I was up 35$ b4 the hand started... when the Ace and the flush draw hit the turn, I was going all the way no matter what happened, cuz I figured he hit top or second pair on the flop, or some kind of inferior draw to mine and he had me on 2 big cards... the king came out and I figured k 10 was well within his range, and if he hit the 7 outter I lost... and I did... cuz online poker is fake, lol

I guess I should have shoved after the turn?

I think you best play is to fold preflop. No need to called 3x, let alone the 3bet with 9/7s. The flop hits you decent, but you make a passive move and check call with the draw. You called with 2 to 1 odds on an EIGHT out draw at this point. You are at best 32% to hit. Once the turn hits, you pick up 7 more outs. This gives you 15 outs to hit either one of your draws, which is 30%ish to hit. If you feel he is weak and a bet can take it, then bet the pot, not 1/2 pot like you did. You turn bet screams I'm on a flush draw, not the A gave me a better pair than you.

    Just my thoughts.

Ya, I know the preflop call was a stretch, the only reason I called is cuz I was up some $ and had it to play w... when he bet I figured he hit a pair & I guess I should have shoved it there, but I figured he would call me anyways, so whats the point... So I called to see if I could hit the open ender, Ace, or diamond... which if the straight or ace hit, I knew I was good, with the opportunity to improve even more w the nut flush... and when the diamond hits the turn, I figure I am more than priced in to carry it out to the end... when the ace hit I knew he was at 4 outs, so I give him good odds to call w the 20$ bet... just didnt work cuz the odds are skewed online, because this play will work 9 out of 10 times live... and has... but online if feels more like 6 0ut of 10

... but ya, I agree the best play in hindsight would be to not even call preflop in the first place

    Wait...what?

You had nothing but a draw on the turn! He didn't have 4 outs, he had THE BEST HAND! You weren't good, you had a draw! You didn't have the nut flush draw, you had a 9 high flush draw!

I mean, you're quite live but you are never ahead with 97 there!

lol im sorry... I was thinking I had a ACE... this same kind of thing happend to me 3 different times that day... I had it confused w another hand where I hit the ace with a flush draw... sorry

my over all impression of internet poker over the last 4 months... is you cant slow play... if you do, the site punishes u for it... which makes sense I guess... hard betting on every street by multiple players = more rake

hahaha... Im just pissed, due to getting called for 15$ w 6,10 preflop, when there is 6$ in the pot... then shoving on the flop w A Q and getting snapped called on a 2,6,7 board... fake *** BS, lol... but as long as I keep pretty much breaking even... I will keep playing, even though I dont trust it
