On April 28th, Fema is conducting a White House directed, Congress mandated, 1st ever National Natural disaster excersise dedicated to the bicentennial of the New Madrid Earthquake of 1812 called the NLE 2011.
This excersise is to last three weeks focussing on a possible catastrophic earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic zone covering 7 states.

And over 1000 earthquakes in Arkansas in the last 6 months, and they only average 39 a year.
