    Default Room partners/Poker players needed!

A letter from a well respected member of the gaming community and a good friend of mine:

Calling all Poker Players can Casino Players that would like their own piece of our new site! We here at the folded Rio, Ken and I will be putting together a fresh new site, with complete control on our own server in Costa Rica and our own banking. We are seeking players that would like to be involved as of course players and share holders. I wanted to post this 3 months ago, but due to my spouse needing 2 minor surgery's, poker had to wait. I am now ready to start speaking to potentials that would like to be involved. As most of you already knew, IG Gaming in Vancouver Canada stole all of our banking and player funds 6 months ago and pulled the plug on our poker site. They even stole the funds that were pending as cash outs from Doc and Ken.

I am over it now and ready to move forward with another honest poker site with the same great customer service and Integrity as Ken & Doc built the former Rio to be. If interested in speaking to me, just drop a line and we will get together, this post came later than originally planned, but things do happen. Best of luck to all my PS friends, both past and future. Doug Bale personal e mail for me is nvarcade@aol.com

I am putting this here in hopes that judy, NDN, or even eejit or one of the guys and gals here would like to become a integral part of a serious investment. We have raised 66k of our goal of 225k to invest in our new site, and shares steadily going. Shares are at 1% or 2,500.00 per share. The guys have a excellent reputation in the poker community and will succeed.

For those looking for a serious investment with a potential huge return please get ahold of me at joe28h@yahoo.com anytime

I am definitely not interested and anyone who knows me in this business also knows I do not endorse any online gaming business on 'shoestring budgets' or that have not been in business a minimum of 2 years.Sorry this will sound cruel but I needed more than $225,000 to buy a coffee shop , I would never support a gaming business with such poor financial backing.I will allow the post to be kept up but you all know how I feel about this.i would not send my players there either.

They were previously in business for a number of years with Rio Poker, a merge supported skin. The 225k is just for the share portion of the startup. I can completely understand your concerns and if you would like more in depth details please email doug. He is a really great guy and can explain the business portion and financials alot better than i could

The fact this venture is going to online forums to raise capital in itself is alarming to me.In 2009 I paid 1 million USD for a network of casinos sites ,we took our company financial to a bank to raise the $400,000 we were short.I know many nice people who can't pay their bills ,one processor seizure and these guys are dust again.I am a numbers person and when you look at big picture I can't see why anyone would get involved with such a poorly funded project.

I agree with Judy on this and I am a little surprised you even bothered to post it here Panam. Perhaps ask Judy to delete this post before it gets any more negative attention.

i am surprised it is getting negative attention for whatever reason, as this is a serious venture, not some scam, with positive intentions that could very well be a great investment, you guys have known me forever now and know thats just not me. A joint entrepreneurial venture if anything i suppose, but if you guys want to take it down, no hard feeling at all. I am feeling alot of negative vibes i think for reasons i may not know or fully understand, and if so i am very sorry.

You can't expect a venture to be taken seriously if they are publicly soliciting partners/players/investors on community forums. It looks desperate and even if they were to get off the ground down the road, threads like these will come back to haunt them.

If anyone else had posted this I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but since it's from you (someone I respect) I am just a bit surprised.

The bottom line is this industry requires deep pockets to survive ,poker rooms are a dime a dozen.I bought into a joint venture before for a 5% stake and because there was so many investors before long the guy who thought he was running the show found out all these little guys formed their own group and took it over.I cannot name the casino but right now an affiliate is SUING a VERY POPULAR casinos because he provided the front money and then his MINORITY partner locked him out.If the principles are so sure this will work they should go to their banks , put their homes up to get the cash .I bet they won't because they already know how risky the venture is .Besides I would have to keep my money to pay for NDN'S lawyer if he got into it ,don't think the laws would be on his side in this regard .
