It's no shocker that Klinkman and I completely disagree on just about every singer this week.

Overall I was disappointed with the show. I'm an Elton John fan and I was hoping it would be a great night all around, but that just wasn't the case. There were a few highlights, but for the most part I wasn't thrilled, especially considering that they picked a lot of the songs I was hoping to hear.

My breakdown singer by singer -

Scotty: What can I say about Scotty that hasn't already been said by Klinkman? Scotty is GREAT, great at making me want to shoot myself when he sings. I was hoping that each week he would show me a glimpse of why he should be allowed to stay in the competition (or a glimpse of how he got in it to begin with), but instead he continues to take a step back with every performance and it kills me that the voting is so biased that he will undoubtedly make it a few more weeks and outlast far better singers/performers. Scotty is so terrible that I am beginning to think Klinkman is giving him great reviews just to get a rise out of me. He can have his one-hit-wonder country song and then vanish and I'll be just fine with that.

Naima: You can use any of my past comments about Naima and apply them to tonight's performance. It was her worst yet (and she's had some pretty bad nights) and I will be happy to finally see her leave tomorrow. It's a shame people will have to listen to her on the AI tour.

Paul: Paul finally left out the backup singers who have been outsinging him on every song. Unfortunately, that left him by himself and he just can't hack it. I'm done hoping for more from Paul because I just don't think it's there.

Pia: A good performance as usual. I thought it was far less superior than her other songs, but definitely good enough to stick around.

Stefano: This didn't blow me away, but I thought it was good enough to survive this week.

Lauren: This was probably my second favorite performance of the night. I've been waiting for her to do a slower song compared to her other jumpy performances and I loved the vulnerability that she showed in her voice.

James: This song was borderline bottom three material for me. All of the theatrics were uncalled for because the song itself doesn't call for them to begin with.

Thia: I like this song and was hoping someone would sing it, and I thought Thia did a good job with it. I don't think it was great enough to pick up a mass following of fans, but it wasn't near the bottom three tonight.

Casey: This was an absolute stellar performance of a fantastic song. America is crazy for nearly voting him off and it would be a shame if he meets a similar fate anytime soon.

Jacob: The song itself wasn't bad and none of his really have been (except the R Kelly song) but I think I am starting to tire of Jacob. He should do something like Casey did and show a different side of him that we haven't seen before.

Haley: I FINALLY got what I have been looking for all along from Haley tonight and that is PERFECTION! This was the perfect song to showcase her fantastic voice and this was tied with Casey's performance for my favorite song of the night.

My Bottom 3: Naima, Scotty, Paul
America's Bottom 3: Naima, Paul, Jacob

Going Home: Naima, Paul
