Lee DeWyze’s guest performance on American Idol last week has proved a masterstroke for the season nine winner.

Sales of the singer’s new single have skyrocketed following his appearance on the results show last Thursday.

Following his appearance, DeWyze sold 12,000 copies of his single, Beautiful Like You, which is a sales increase of a staggering 8,068 per cent.

***8068% increase? what was his sales before? 15 sold?
