    Default Panamhiest

    Hi Everyone!

I am Joe, AKA PANAMHIEST, lafate27. I am the father and husband of a beatiful family, heather my wife, and kylee, my 22 month old daughter. We all live out in the boonies close to aggie land here in texas. We plan to soon move up north, hopefully to colorado or soda springs california. It just gets way too hot during the summer time here anymore, plus we wanna be able to share the experience of the snow and mountains with kylee.

My online life started like everyone elses im sure, due to the huge poker boom and all the exposure on t.v, the radio, and the internet. I was curious what it was all about, and my first venture into the world of online gaming was at partypoker, who at the time still allowed USA players. I did really well, moving i think at the time was a $50 no deposit deal to well over 4k within weeks. From there i headed over to absolute poker and within the year made over 100k, most off of badbeat jackpots. My online world expanded from there as i got to know the ropes and ways in the online gaming world. My first ever forum was years to come yet though, as back then i was a loner to the online social world in a sense, and if you played poker, you was my enemy and all i wanted was to take your money, at any level.

Well, to make a long story short, the long version is in my post history if your interested, I meet heather, we had a family together, and i settled down. The majority of my online money went towards courting her, and getting things ready for the baby that was soon to come. I did however make enough to buy a nice new truck. My poker life started, blew up, and then gracefully ended all on a $50 no deposit poker bonus. Now of course i deposited over time when i was single and working a great job making $800+ a week, sometimes more. But my deposit record couldnt have been more then 1.5k total for a profit of over 100k, not bad right?

Well as they say life goes on and 100k doesnt last long, especially with a baby on the way. But i wouldnt change it for the world, because kylee and heather mean more to me then any amount of money i could of won in my online ventures.

Now and days, im just a laid back daddy, Ive settled down in life, not everyone with a dollar in poker is my enemy anymore. I enjoy life more, even if im not as wealthy poker wise as i once was. I mess around in casinoes, something i have never ever done before, poker isnt about getting rich fast, its about having a good time, enjoying life, and being grateful for the things i was and have been blessed with.
