Slot tournament advice?

I played in my 1st slot tourny yesterday at Win Palace and had 10 minutes to play and 5000 credits.

Well it was set to bet 100 credits per bet with a score being kept so I got exactly 50 spins.
Well I had over 5 minutes left when I finished.

Would I had been better off betting 50 credits for 100 spins or is the max bet the best option?

I did finish 17th for a whopping 38 cents.

man i was hopin someone would have responded to this.....my question is.......the same ......are games set to pay off differently for each game without consideration of denomination? ..like does it pay a higher percentage for lower denominations? Are the games set to pay a certain percentage and do they differ per slot game?

Surely you need to realise casino's wont pay out in a tourney different %'s per buyin?

I did play at a casino a good while ago where the slot did pay out more the higher you bet, but i think most all are random, but ya in a tournament situation the more bets you get the better off youll be, so i would of went with a lower domination as it gives you more changes to hit something.

yeah, but slots pay out at like 98.4%. So the more bets you have, the lower the variance, so there more likely you are to post a small loss rather than a big win

well ive been playing a few now on FS and i think that max per line with less denomination is the key ..trying that next...cuz max perline and max denomination hasnt paid off yet

I think the slots is a lost cause...........i just started with some of the free tournies on them and i won the first week i played (i think they were luring me in lol) and now nada......I hate when i get the bonus spins just when the timer runs out

if you know that you are way ahead of the competition towards the end you could sit out or slow down play
