What does it mean when they say BB and SB are assigned to the players who have gone the longest amount of time without posting?

Does the Quick Fold option help you stay out of the blinds longer or what?

Lol, silly.

Its the amount of hands you get dealt. So if you haven't been the BB for about 8 or 9 hands, your due up, same for the SB. Quick fold is just like normal fold. Its just worked out simply as to everyone on the table who has been dealt the most hands at that table without being the BB, then the SB, then it assigns those 2 players those positions. It works the same for the seat positions (UTG, cut off, button) too.

Yu really think FTP is stupid enough to overlook this so people can skip blinds?

In rush poker tournaments, time IS part of the calculation rather than just hands as it is in cash. This is to prevent stalling around the bubble, as if you tank longer you will have to post the blind in fewer hands.
